CAF and GIZ signed MoU at COP17
Corporación Andina de Fomento (CAF) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signature took place during the closing of the official joint German Ministry for the Environment (BMU)-GIZ side-event at COP17 in Durban, South Africa.
The objective of this MoU is to support the Government of Colombia with the implementation of Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) in the transport sector. The signing of the MoU is an example of the efforts Colombia is making to promote sustainable transport.

The signatories were Mrs. Ligia Castro (Director Environment, CAF) and Dr. Harald Diaz-Bone (GIZ) (below, left) as well as the witnesses Mr. Felipe Targa (Ministry of Transport, Colombia) and Mrs. Sandra Lopez (Ministry of Environment, Colombia) (below, right).
