TRANSfer Handbook presented at UNFCCC in Bonn
The TRANSfer Project played a role at the official ‘Bridging the Gap’ (BtG) side-event ‘Designing a Successful Transport NAMA’, which took place on Wednesday, 16th May at the UNFCCC’s 36th session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SB) in Bonn (Germany).

On the 16th of May Harald Diaz Bone will be one of the speakers at the official Bridging the Gap (BtG) side event on Designing a Successful Transport NAMA at the 26th session of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies.

Meeting on Low Carbon Development Strategy in Bogotá

On the 4th of May 2012 the second meeting for the elaboration of the Low Carbon Development Strategy was held in Bogotá. Carlosfelipe Pardo, TRANSfer manager for Colombia, took part in the roundtable discussions on the transport sector as one out of ten experts. This meeting had the goal to seek specific advice from experts on various sectors to develop the full strategy during 2012.

TRANSfer at MAIN regional dialogue in Bogotá
From the 25th to 27th of April the 3rd MAIN regional dialogue was held in Bogotá. Together with participants from
various countries of the region the TRANSfer Project discussed ways forward regaring the development of NAMAs for
different sectors.
Carlosfelipe Pardo, manager for TRANSfer Colombia, participated in the discussions for the development of draft
NAMAs for the region and the improvement of Colombian policies that could be transformed into or complemented by
NAMAs.
Delegations Journey emphasizes the TRANSfer Project in Bogotá/Colombia
During the official visit of the German Deputy Minister Mr. Rainer Bomba, Dr. Harald Daiz-Bone (Project Director TRANSfer), who attends him on this journey through South America, and Carlosfelipe Pardo (Country Manager TRANSfer) participated in various meetings and events in Bogotá (Colombia). Important topics, such as funding possibilities of NAMAs and the development of an event on transport solutions for Colombian cities have been discussed.
